I've only tried on the 4'3 which I bought and that was very warm. The legs and arms do not let much water in at all since they are sealed tight. The padding which came with it is really easy to place in the wetsuit. The best part about it is that the padding comes in different sizes so that if there is a bigger day, I can easily place larger padding in the suit which makes it a game changer. Most of the other brands have the padding already built in so this is a great change from that. When it gets a bit colder in Nazare I will start using the 5 mil suit and booties but for now its just way too warm. I was already sweating in the 4'3
